EQUINE SUPER SUPPLEMENT (G or A) is to be fed along with forage and free choice iodized salt. Feed to the following horses:
- Adult horses on maintenance diet as the sole supplement, who requiring little or no grain in their diet to maintain proper body weight. Feed at the rate of one (1) pound per day (based on 1000 lb. body weight) along with hay.
- As a mineral/vitamin “balancer”. Mix LMF SUPER SUPPLEMENT with unfortified grains (oats or “COB”) to ensure an intake of one (1) pound of SUPER SUPPLEMENT per day (based on 1000 lbs. body weight).
- Performance horses as a mineral/vitamin balancer pellet along with unfortified grains (such as oats) to ensure one (1) pound of LMF Super Supplement per day (based on a 1000 lb. horse).
- Pregnant mares that tend to become overweight if fed normal amounts of grain. Feed at the rate of one (1) pound per day (based on 1000 lb. body weight).
- Early gestation mares as the total supplemental feed or along with unfortified grains. Ensure mare receives (1) pound of LMF Super Supplement per day (based on 1000 lb horse).
- As a therapeutic feed for weanlings demonstrating symptoms of Development Orthopedic Disease (DOD). Feed at a rate of 0.3 lbs. per 100 lbs. body weight per day, not exceed 1.5 lbs. per day.
WARNING: Feed LMF Horse Feeds to horses according to the feeding instructions provided on the feed tag, or upon the advice of your nutritionist. Do not add other sources of selenium that cause total dietary selenium (forage and grain, combined) to exceed 0.3 ppm. Feeding additional vitamin or mineral supplements is not recommended when feeding LMF Feed products according to feeding instructions.
