Modesto Milling Organic Senior Pellet is a pelleted feed specifically formulated for the horse that needs more calories than our Horse Supplement Pellets, but does not need high levels of starch in the diet. Organic Senior is a balanced feed that , when fed within the recommended feeding rates, removes the guess work as to whether the horse is getting all the required nutrients (protein, vitamins and minerals) and calories for optimal performance. Organic Senior combines high quality organic ingredients like, oats, coconut meal, sesame meal, carrots, flax seed, sunflower seeds, and alfalfa meal to make a lower starch feed for horses and works as a great augmentation to alfalfa or grass forages. Formulated without soy, corn or molasses.
Organic Senior is appropriate for the following types of horses: performance and pleasure horses, broodmares, and senior horses. Can be served dampened as a mash for tooth-challenged seniors

Recommended feeding rate 0.4 – 1.0 lbs. per 100 lbs. body weight per day with forage. For senior horses with chewing problems it is recommended to feed wetted as a mash. Do not feed more than 5.0 lbs at a single feeding. Provide fresh, clean water at all times
